‘Entertainment Weekly’ reunited the cast of ‘Magic Mike’ on the cover of their latest issue to create “a little striptease of its own.” The one of a kind film revisits Channing Tatum’s days of being a stripper in Miami, Florida and stars Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Tatum himself.
The guys rock black pants and wife beaters as they pose in the rain on the cover of ‘EW.’ With Tatum ripping open his shirt and Joe Manganiello with arms widespread, the cover screams “Stripper.”
‘Magic Mike’ is directed by Steven Soderbergh and hits theaters nationwide on June 29th. The new issue of ‘Entertainment Weekly’ hits stands on Friday, May 18th.

As many of you know by now, Channing Tatum was well versed in the art of stripping before he became an actor and in his upcoming film ‘Magic Mike,’ directed by Steven Soderbergh, he revisits his days of stripping, partying, picking up women and earning easy money on the big screen.
Tatum covered the June/July Issue of ‘Out’ Magazine where he gives readers an insight into the film, his past experiences as a stripper (he began at 19), his film career and more. Tatum also shows off his ‘Complete Package’ in his spread where he shows off his personality in the black and white shots while wearing Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Gucci and more.
‘Magic Mike’ hits cinemas June 29th.
On ‘Magic Mike’: “It’s risky. People say that women and the gay community will go see it – knock on wood – but I know straight guys won’t be like, ‘Yo, what’s up man – you wanna go see the stripping movie after the game tonight?’ I doubt they’ll have the balls to see it. What’s funny is that the girls don’t ask me questions about my stripping days, but straight guys want to know everything. It’s that fantasy element. It’s probably why a lot of females on Halloween are the whorey version of a ketchup bottle, or slutty nurse, which I love and respect – it’s liberating.”

During their visit to New York City, The Wanted visited AOL Sessions to perform a few tracks from their self-titled EP ‘The Wanted’ and they talked about the boy band stigma as well as their relationship with One Direction.
Jay McGuiness spoke about being labeled as a “boy band” saying: “I think the view [of boy bands] changed slightly because people realized as much as a lot of young girls like our songs, we’re not just tailoring it to those people. We want to … we make songs that I think if it wasn’t five guys singing it … if it was one guy singing it, then everyone would buy it. And so somehow we always have that stigma, but we don’t care about those people — we care about the people that buy our albums and songs and we are very happy with the songs we do, I think.”
