The James Bond 007 series is one of the longest and best in the business and on the new poster for the 23rd installment of the 007 flick ‘Skyfall,’ Daniel Craig stays true to the James Bond style as she suits up in all black and poses in front of the signature gun barrel backdrop.

In ‘Skyfall,’ the history of M16 director M comes back to haunt her as the organization comes under attack. Bond’s loyalty to M is put under a microscope as he must track down and eliminate the threat to both M and M16.

Film Director Sam Mendes recently gushed about 07’s role in the film saying that his performance is “great elan and cool and that is always more interesting.” He continued, “[Bond is] a doer, not a thinker. And I think you have to understand that. I also think he doesn’t walk amongst us.” “He’s not Bourne. He doesn’t walk the streets. He’s a lone wolf. You have to keep him separate for most of the movie. It’s a very particular area he has to exist in.”

Mendes also told reporters: “I didn’t just say yes to doing a Bond movie, I said yes to doing a Bond movie with Daniel Craig … and Judi Dench. Judi, to me, is one of the great actors of the English-speaking world and so it’s a question of, well, a little bit like what I was saying with Javier [Bardem], what can we give her that will take her to another level we’ve never seen her before? What can we do with her that will surprise or challenge even her? We pushed it further and we pushed other characters further, too.”

The first trailer for the upcoming action flick will debut on Monday, May 21st on the official website – www.007.com. ‘Skyfall’ hits cinemas in the U.K. and Ireland on October 26th and in the US. On November 9th.
