Published On June 14, 2012 | Celeb Facts, Celebrities

Earlier this morning, we reported that Chris Brown was partying at WIP Nightclub in New York City when Drake was also present and a fight broke out between their camps.

A few moments ago, representatives for Drake released an official statement, which reads: “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.” “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

An alleged eyewitness at WIP Nightclub gave his account of the events that took place saying:

According to TMZ, the fight began after Chris Brown and Meek Mill began screaming violently at each other. A source also told them that Rihanna did not cause the fight.

A rep for Chris Brown has also issued a statement that reads: ”Chris, Karrueche [Tran] and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at WIP. They sustained several injuries.” “Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further.”

Reports suggested that no one was seriously injured but the photo of Chris Brown’s bodyguard Big Pat says otherwise …
