There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the citation that Justin Bieber last week after being involved in a car chase with the paparazzi on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles and according to TMZ, the California Highway Patrol isn’t too sure if JB deserved the ticket in the first place.

Some officers called him “a victim of the rogue paparazzi.” “This was like a Princess Diana situation,” one source told TMZ. “It was not Bieber’s fault.”

Other members of the department think that he did deserve it insisting that she should have slowed down or exited the freeway. “It’s like rushing a woman to the hospital who’s about to give birth. You can’t endanger the lives of innocent people, and Bieber did,” said a source.

They also commented on the paparazzo who JB filed charges against saying that the chances of him being prosecuted are slim to none. “It’s a misdemeanor committed outside the CHP’s presence and it’s a stretch the City Attorney will take the case.”
