Katy Perry Slapped With Indecency Charges In India – Court Case

‘Part Of Me’ singer Katy Perry might have revealed too many of her parts during a concert at a cricket match in India and she has been slapped with an indecency charge. – Or did she?

The Sun reports that Perry asked Australian cricket player Doug Bollinger onstage to demonstrate the game in April at the opening of the Indian Premier League and when he put his arms around her to show her the swing, it immediately became indecent in the eyes of K Jebakumar, a lawyer who was present.

The lawyer filed the complaint in “public interest” under the Indian Penal Code claiming that their actions were “obscene and lascivious, appealing to prurient interest” and “distracted students who were writing exams at the time.” The case goes to court on July 31st and since neither party was formally charged, they are not required to be present.

-Really and truly, it’s impossible for students to be taking exams and watching cricket simultaneously so we think that his claim is utter foolishness.
