Ellie Goulding Reveals ‘Halcyon’ Album Cover & Release Date

Published On July 30, 2012 | Celebrities, Music News

We haven’t been hearing much of Ellie Goulding since the release of her album ‘Lights’ but earlier this month, she began her new journey with the release of a cover of Active Child’s ‘Hanging On,’ which features Tinie Tempah.

Moments ago, Goulding took to Twitter to announce another leg of her journey, sharing more information on her sophomore album. “Can finally give you all details of my next album! It is called Halcyon and it is coming out on Oct 8th in the UK and Oct 9th in the US,” Goulding tweeted.

The first single from ‘Halcyon’ will be ‘Anything Can Happen,’ which will premiere on September 30th and she is offering her fans the opportunity to be a part of the lyric video by posting Instagram photos of the lyrics to the song.

The LP is also rumoured to include collaborations with Skrillex and Swedish House Mafia but we’ll have to wait until October to find out if these are true or false.

Fans can expect a teaser to be released later this week as Goulding tweeted, “I’m so incredibly proud of this record, I really can’t wait for you all to hear it. Going to post a little teaser later this week I think.” She added, “As ever overwhelmed by your positive responses… I just can’t wait to share this with you and be seeing you on tour again…..
