Coldplay’s Chris Martin Forgets ‘Warning Sign’ Lyrics During Concert

Forgetting a lyric or two during a performance isn’t that big of a deal but when Coldplay frontman Chris Martin forgot the rest of the lyrics to ‘Warning Sign’ this past Sunday in Boston, he explained that his memory lapse was because the only thing on his mind was the Summer Olympics.

In the middle of his performance, he stopped and told the crowd, “Oh s*it… I was thinking about the Olympics. I was distracted. I was not in the breakup frame of mind I needed to be in. I’m gonna get back into it. I’m gonna stop thinking about pole vaulting and things like that… The best concert in the world is happening right here, right now.”

He then added, “F*ck the Olympics. Let’s have a f*cking great time in Boston!” He soon realized how his words could be interpreted and then said, “Please don’t tweet that I said ‘F*ck the Olympics.’ I didn’t mean it. I’ll never hear the end of it.”
