Rick Ross obtained his fourth No.1 this week when his latest album ‘God Forgives I Don’t’ premiered at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart pushing 218,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan. While those figures are better than what most artists could achieve, he revealed that he’s scared to admit his success.
“Even with the success I have and the things I have accomplished, I still don’t feel like I’m an Eric B. and Rakim yet,” said Rick Ross on RapFix Live last week. “As long as I keep that mindset and that inspiration still there, I can keep getting better. Thinking any other way, I think it may scare me.”
Fans can keep an eye out for a surprise on August 14th as he tweeted, “For everyone supporting #GFID I’m Dropping something #Unbelievable this Tuesday!!!!!!”
Meanwhile, Rick Ross opened up about his ideal first date on the Rickey Smiley Show. “It’s no telling. It depends on the energy, that vibe. We most definitely gonna have a good time,” he said. “We may start by eating a 20 piece lemon pepper in the Benz. You know it ain’t nothing like eating chicken wings in the car, when you in that intimate setting. And I’ma let you dip my flat wings in the ranch.”
