David Guetta Talks Disappointment With Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’

Lady Gaga’s latest album ‘Born This Way’ sold 1.108 million copies in its first week and while these figures indicate an obvious success, French DJ and Producer David Guetta had other things to say about it. Describing the album as “very disappointing,” he stated it would have been much better if he had the opportunity to work on it.

While the two discussed working on the album in 2009, he revealed that he regretted not collaborating with her. “Yeah, because I think we could have done something amazing on her last record, ‘Born This Way’. And her last record was to me very disappointing,” he said. “She’s an amazing artist, and she deserves to be always looking ahead, like she did with her first album.”

Despite Guetta’s disappointment with her last album, he did say that her upcoming album ‘ARTPOP’ is going to be much better because he knows who will be working on it. He said, “But actually I know for a fact – because I know who she’s working with now – that the next album is going to be absolutely crazy. He’s someone really good, a young kid.”
