Lana Del Rey’s H&M Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook

Published On August 17, 2012 | Celebrities, Fashion

Sultry songstress Lana Del Rey has her music on lockdown and as the fashion forward diva continues to pave her way in the fashion industry, the newly released H&M Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook has done nothing but push her career forward.

While previews of the lookbook were released last month, the full collection of images shows the new face of the fashion giant delivering her signature pout and sultry look for fashion photographer duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin (AKA Inez & Vinoodh).

LDR makes a serious statement in thick knit cardigans, sweaters, dresses and coats. Not only are her outfits spot on but so are her dagger like nails, winged eyeliner and bouffant hairstyle.

“We were looking for a style icon and singer to model our fall collection and so Lana Del Rey was the perfect choice,” Chloe Bowers, H&M PR Manager, told Grazia Daily.

“The theme of the campaign is a modern and feminine woman with a soft attitude,” Chloe continues. “Curves and waist are important in autumn’s silhouette with a focus on knitwear and tweed, the colours include powder tones and accessories in wine red.”

Del Rey also performed a cover of ‘Blue Velvet’ for a minifilm that will be released on on September 19th and subsequently distributed globally. Edited versions will be used as TV commercials.
