Taylor Swift & Conor Kennedy Kicked Out Of A Wedding
This past weekend, Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy attended a family wedding in New England and while the average couple would be thrilled to have such high profile guests at their ceremony, this was not the case.
According to The Boston Herald, the couple attended the wedding of Kennedy’s cousin Kyle but Conor never bothered to R.S.VP and when the bride’s mother Victoria saw them stealing the attention in the lobby, she asked them to leave.
“[Conor and Taylor] texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,” Victoria said. “I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway. … I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”
However, Swift’s rep had another story. “There is no truth to that,” she said. “Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there.”
The couple left during dinner but returned to dance at the reception.
Despite the run in that Swift and Kennedy had with Victoria, she is still on great terms with the family and on August 21st, she joined them for a visit to the grave of Conor’s late mother Mary Richardson.
Conor’s 52-year-old mother took her own life on May 16th when she hanged herself in the barn of the family’s Bedford N.Y. home. She was struggling to deal with divorce proceedings, depression and addiction.
