According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban are both in the finalizing their contracts with ‘American Idol’ to become judges for the upcoming season. Minaj will reportedly receive $8 million in the deal while Urban will be paid between $3 to $4 million.

Urban is a judge on Australia’s ‘The Voice’ and is trying to complete his album while juggling his judging duties. “I’m trying to make an album and it’s strange how these opportunities all come in one big fell swoop,” Urban said.
