Beloved humanitarian, mother, wife and entertainer Beyoncé Knowles celebrates her 31st birthday today (September 4th) and her closest family and friends have a special gift for her.

Her website has been taken over and filled with handwritten notes from loved ones such as her mother Tina, sister Solange, mother-in-law Michelle Williams, and close friends including Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.

Solange praised her for her generosity writing, “Dear Big Sis, There is no one like you in the world, of all of your mind blowing achievements that one that first comes to mind is your kindness. Your sense of selflessness, consideration of other people’s well being and your beautiful generosity are all things that make me so proud be your sister and your friend.”

Her mother Tina was thrilled to have such an amazing daughter writing, “God blessed me with one of the greatest gifts in my life on September 4th, 1981. Happy Birthday, Love Mom.”
