Adele Records James Bond ‘Skyfall’ Theme Song At Abbey Road Studios
During an appearance on the ‘Jonathan Ross Show’ last year, vocal powerhouse Adele hinted that she would be recording the soundtrack to the upcoming James Bond flick ‘Skyfall.’
As you could imagine, nothing had ever been confirmed to the public but ‘The Sun’ reports that Adele paid a visit to the Abbey Road Studios to contribute her voice to the legendary film series. Music Director Thomas Newman has been cooped up in the studios putting together the soundtrack for the flick and reports suggest that Adele has been working with ‘Rolling in the Deep’ producer Paul Epworth.
We think that Adele would be the perfect choice and so does Chris Cornell. He told MTV News, ”I can’t think of a better one. She’s phenomenal and it’s nice, in a day and age where so many vocals are fixed by computers, that the biggest album of last year was somebody who sings For Real.”
While we have no choice but to wait for confirmation, we can’t help but wonder what the title of the song will be. Madonna recorded ‘Die Another Day,’ Sheryl Crow ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ and Alicia Keys/Jack White ‘Another Way To Die’ so we can only assume that the title will have something to do with death.
In ‘Skyfall,’ the history of M16 director M comes back to haunt her as the organization comes under attack. Bond’s loyalty to M is put under a microscope as he must track down and eliminate the threat to both M and M16.
Daniel Craig returns once again as James Bond alongside Naomie Harris, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. ‘Skyfall’ hits cinemas in the U.K. and Ireland on October 26th and in the US. On November 9th.
We can’t wait!
