Ke$ha Whistles New Single ‘Die Young’ On Tokyo Subway

Ke$ha announced her new single ‘Die Young’ at the 2012 MTV VMA’s telling everyone, “my first single is called ‘Die Young,’ and it’ll be out this month.” Just a few days later, the singer took a page from Flo Rida’s book and whistled the new track while on the Tokyo Subway.
Making a statement in leather leggings, a denim jacket and studded heels, the black-and-white clip shows her listening to ‘Die Young’ through her beats while she whistles the melody’s foundation.
‘Die Young’ will appear on Ke$ha’s upcoming album, which she says will prove to the world that she can sing. “About 90 percent of the time, I don’t give a f*ck. But I give so many f*cks about this album,” she said. “Some people weren’t sure if I could sing. On this record, I said ‘Let’s leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail.’”
