There has been speculation after speculation surrounding Adele and the ‘Skyfall’ theme song but now the Grammy winning singer has confirmed a number of those rumours.

Adele tweeted a photo of the ‘Skyfall’ sheet music, which contains everything that you could ever want to know about the song. She revealed that after reading the script, she enlisted the help of Paul Epworth to co-write and produce the theme song, which features a 77-piece orchestra.

She said, “I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for ‘Skyfall.’ There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end. It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I’ve never done which made it exciting. When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I’ll be back combing my hair when I’m 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day I’m sure!”

Adele will premiere the full ‘Skyfall’ theme song via her official website on Thursday, October 4th at 7:07 P.M. EST. It will be available for purchase immediately after the premiere.

While you’re waiting for the full song to be premiered, take a first listen to a 90-second snippet of the song, which surfaced online literally moments ago. As we previously reported, the chorus reads, “Let the sky fall/Let it crumble/We will stand tall/And face it all/together.”

In ‘Skyfall,’ the history of M16 director M comes back to haunt her as the organization comes under attack. Bond’s loyalty to M is put under a microscope as he must track down and eliminate the threat to both M and M16.

Daniel Craig returns once again as James Bond alongside Naomie Harris, Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem. ‘Skyfall’ hits cinemas in the U.K. and Ireland on October 26th and in the U.S. On November 9th. ‘Skyfall’ will be released in IMAX in the U.S. on November 8th.
