Out & About: Rihanna Hits The Recording Studio In New York City

Rihanna has been enjoying the success of her new single ‘Diamonds’ and the singer was spotted yesterday (October 2nd) leaving a recording studio in New York City wearing a Givenchy “American Dream” T-Shirt from the Fall 2012 Men’s collection and Christian Louboutin Seann Girl Thigh High Boots.

Rih Rih is about to start insane promotion for her new single and upcoming seventh studio album. She will perform ‘Diamonds’ and another unannounced track alongside Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The event will be taped in NYC and be broadcast on CBS on December 4th at 10 P.M. EST.

As if this wasn’t enough, ‘Diamonds’ debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs with 133,000, and at No. 28 on Hot 100 Airplay with 42 million. ‘Diamonds’ debuted at No. 1 in France becoming her sixth No. 1 single in the country and it peaked the charts on iTunes in 20 countries and landed in the Top 10 in almost 50 countries.

That isn’t the only thing going on with the singer. Rihanna just landed at No. 4 on Forbes’ Highest-Paid Women’s list for the first time. She tied with talk show host Ellen earning an impressive $53 million thank s to her hits including ‘We Found Love’ and ‘Talk That Talk.’ Her earnings were also influenced by endorsements from the likes of Vita Coco and Nivea along with her Reb’l Fleur perfume and 85-show tour.
