2012 seems to be the year of the British invasion and one of the latest Brits to enter the U.S. is the oh so cute Cher Lloyd.

Lloyd’s U.S. debut ‘Sticks & Stones’ turned out to be quite the hit with her stateside fans and just moments ago, she premiered the official music video for ‘Oath,’ the second U.S. single lifted from the effort, featuring up-and-coming singer-songwriter Becky G.

The British beauty is only 19 years old and the video reflects her bubbly personality, colourful fashion sense and age. In the clip, Lloyd is stuck in detention and she looks as bored as ever but once the bell rings, she runs out of the class and hops into a car with her friends.

The girls are all decked out in super colourful outfits and head to the Laundromat to play a game of Just Dance 4 (Lol … Endorsement!). They soon get bored and have a little party in the parking lot before driving to the beach and running straight into the beautiful blue ocean.

This is the first time that Lloyd has worn a swimsuit in one of her videos and she pulled it off amazingly well. Of course, she outshines all of her friends in her retro pink polka-dot swimsuit and as she sings about making an ‘Oath,’ we get to enjoy both her beauty and smooth vocals.

‘Oath’ is sure to hit it big on the radio and as far as Lloyd’s entry into the U.S. market … Success!
