Beyoncé literally goes nowhere but up in her life and it was recently confirmed that she will be performing at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show in February of 2013.

Bey performed the National Anthem during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, in her hometown of Houston, Texas and we can’t help but wonder what she’ll do for her halftime set. Madonna did a great job but Beyoncé will definitely blow her performance out of the water.

Beyoncé confirmed the news by posting the image shown above on her website with the caption, ‘Countdown to Touchdown.

Super Bowl XLVII will be held on February 3rd, 2013 at the Super Dome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
