A pregnant Kim Kardashian shows off her body on the cover of the Spring 2013 issue of ‘DuJour’ magazine. Meanwhile, on the inside pages, she opens up about her pregnancy and privacy among other things.

Photographed by Bruce Weber, the shots feature Kim frolicking in the pool in a Karla Colletto bra, playing bongos in a print Cia Maritima skirt, playing with bead necklaces in a Donna Karan plunge dress, and lounging about in fluffy Hermes beach towels.

Here’s what Kim Kardashian had to say:

On going through her divorce from Kris Humphries: “Going through a divorce for anybody is devastating and heartbreaking, and then to have to do it and feel like you have to explain what is happening is such an awkward thing,”

On her new pregnancy ritual: “I used to always say I can’t wait to get pregnant because I will just eat whatever I want, but it’s completely different. I’m like, OK, I want to eat as healthy as possible. Though lately I’ve been watching shows like I’m Pregnant and Addicted to [Crystal] Meth. It definitely makes me feel better if I’m wanting one sip of Diet Coke or, you know, too much sugar. I’m like, this woman is on meth.”

On how Kanye West has changed her: “My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.”

On her divorce: “Going through a divorce for anybody is devastating and heartbreaking, and then to have to do it and feel like you have to explain what is happening is such an awkward thing. You have to explain your choice to millions of people, and then they’re disappointed. I’m disappointed. Why are they disappointed?”

Co-editor Keith Pollack on how difficult it was obtaining pieces for Kim: “I think there’s some hesitation to work with Kim just because she doesn’t necessarily fit with most luxury brands’ visions. Luckily with Bruce, we didn’t try to create a fashion shoot. Formichetti was really trying to position her as a fashion force but we went the opposite way. It was about showing her in more a natural way. We went really minimal with makeup. There are very few fashion credits. In one shot she’s wearing towels. And despite the hesitation from these brands–she’s still wearing Gucci and Chanel and Lanvin even if they’re not lending it to her. She can buy them. So we thought, “Let’s not make this a fashion story.”
