The 2013 Billboard Music Awards are live right now at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and we’ve got you covered with the full list of winners at tonight’s show along with the epic performances from the likes of Icona Pop, Bruno Mars and Selena Gomez.
This time around, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and fun. are up for 11 awards while Rihanna is right behind with 10 nods of her own. Other nominees include One Direction, Adele, Lady Gaga, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Adele became a legend in what seemed to be no time and we’re extremely proud to report that the singer will release a new album in “mid 2014.”
The sources at ‘The Mirror’ report that she’s in “lockdown mode” at a London recording studio for the next few weeks finishing up some songs. “Four tracks are finished in terms of writing and she’s now laying down preliminary vocals with backing music and singers,” explained a source. “The rest of the record will be done in LA. The feel is very much Adele going back to her roots, with some modern jazz and a couple of classic old songs.”

That Rihanna reign just won’t let up! That’s right folks, the good girl gone bad has been winning from the very start and we can now confirm that Rihanna has received an impressive 10 nominations at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.
This year, she received nominations in categories such as Top Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist where she battles the likes of Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, Psy and One Direction.
Rihanna has also become the first artist in the 20-year history of Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart to land 10 No. 1s, as ‘Stay’ rises 2-1. “I owe this to my fans and to Billboard! Thank you for the love! It’s pretty major!” she tweeted.
Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, and fun, each appear in eleven categories and Nicki Minaj follows close behind being named in 7 categories including Top Female Artist and Top Rap Artist. “So grateful & honored to receive 7 billboard awards nominations… Thank u Billboard & Thank u to everyone who supported in the past year XO,” she said about her nominations.
‘ELLE’ magazine has just released their annual Women In Music issue and on the cover, Adele brings her signature style – a serious pout with a classic cat eye and a vintage lace Alberta Ferretti dress – for photographer Thomas Whiteside. Adele looks insanely stunning. Her best cover yet.
“The set reflected Adele’s retro crooner style perfectly,” Creative Director Joe Zee explained.
The music issue includes a tribute to Adele and includes other musician’s thoughts on her rise to fame such as Katy Perry, Britney Spears, John Mayer and legend Barbra Streisand.
Alicia Keys and Rita Ora also grace the alternate covers for the May 2013 issue, which hits newsstands April 23th.

The 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards took place at the USC Galen Center on Saturday (March 23rd) in Los Angeles, California and the newly-single Katy Perry arrived in a Herve Leger by Max Azria Pre-Fall 2013 ensemble, which was extremely stunning.
Her printed two-piece, which consisted of a haltered criss-cross top and high-waisted skirt was styled with black Christian Louboutin pumps, Nikki Baker earrings and gold Melinda Maria bangles. She completed her look with neutral makeup and sleek hair.
Katy beat out Taylor Swift, Pink, and Adele, taking home the award for Favorite Female Singer and screamed, “I love the kids!” She kept her speech short and sweet saying, “Stay safe and stay in school. Have a good time, stay in school!”

The First Lady will turn 50 on January 17th, 2014 and according to sources, both Adele and Beyonce will be on hand to perform at the A-list soiree.
“America’s First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyonce, she has asked them both to sing. Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance,” a source revealed. “She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her friends.”
Adele’s work on ‘Skyfall’ was simply mind blowing and according to sources, James Bond producers want the songstress to record yet another theme song for the film franchise.
A source said, “Producers are thrilled by how well the song has been received and hope Adele’s presence on the next film will replicate that success. They want her to become as synonymous with Bond as Dame Shirley.”
