Letter From The Editor In Chief: Alex Jackson (@AlexCJackson16)
Dear Star Trident Readers,
At this time, I’d like to take a personal moment to give each and every one of you a special welcome to Star Trident. My name is Alex Jackson and I serve as the Entertainment Director of KeDrew Media. Along with my other duties, I have been entrusted with the formidable task of running and maintaining this blog and its content. Having already established a previous blog for a short period of 6 months before this, it managed to surpass an average of 500+ views daily (peak: 4,000+) which sparked my own drive to continue along this path.
Life is about doing what you love, and luckily, I found my passion very early in my life. I began blogging because Entertainment was one of the few things that made me happy; it wasn’t something that I was forced to do or was compulsory in my life, it was one of those things that I could pour all of my effort into and feel the utmost satisfaction afterwards.
After I discovered my passion, I began a period of personal training where I honed my skills under the guidance of Barbados’ Elite. In early 2011, I joined the Miss Barbados World team where I gained the majority of my experience. Involved in the overall production of the experience, I played a part in each and every area learning about PR, Photography and Event Management among other skills.
Here I am today, now the Entertainment Director of KeDrew Media. All of this being possible through what I have learnt over a two year period and thankfully for Damien seeing potential in me. A brilliant man who we all know by the name of Steve Jobs often said: “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something … your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.” This principle is one that I live by and has shaped me into the individual that I am today.
So here I am readers, I fully dedicate myself to bringing you the latest and best in Entertainment News through a unique perspective. Share Star Trident with your peers and make sure to stick around for the experience of a lifetime.
Editor In Chief / Entertainment Director.

Boasting a high-profile list of some of the entertainment industry’s top influencers like, SRP Records (Rihanna, Shontelle, Hal Linton & Vita Chambers) and Roc Nation; Damien Gooding, has his fellow industry peers at Neonlimelight, JustJared, and ConcreteLoop to thank for their inspiration towards building his own network, that being KeDrew.
The brand has further evolved to parent a new shift in the online entertainment arena with the launch of a new subsidiary under the KeDrew umbrella, StarTrident – a hub for all pop culture celebrity news, exclusive interviews, fashion shows and industry events both locally in Barbados and internationally.
During his 4-year success in the local and international entertainment business, he met his friend and now business partner, Alex Jackson, who together, will fuse their intellectual skills and professionalism to gradually form and create a platform which targets an entertainment market like never before.
