Fun. Perform ‘We Are Young’ & ‘Carry On’ To Repoen The Jersey Shore

The Jersey Shore is officially reopened months after being devastated by superstorm Sandy and this morning (May 24th), the band fun. took to the ‘TODAY’ stage to perform their mega hits ‘We Are Young’ & ‘Carry On’ in celebration of the big day.
The band revealed that they actually spent a lot of their time on the shore and it was where they wrote most of the music for their album. They also spoke about how they met in Jersey and the kinds of foods that they ate during time off. After that quick chat with the ‘TODAY’ hosts, they eventually kicked Matt & his co-host off the stage and gave the crowd just what they were asking for – an epic performance.

Summer is upon us and as Mariah Carey kicked off the ‘Good Morning America: Summer Concert Series’ just minutes ago, she suffered an unexpected wardrobe malfunction before rocking the crowd with hits such as ‘Always Be My Baby,’ ‘We Belong Together’ and ‘#Beautiful’ with Miguel on hand.
Mariah kicked off the show by chatting with Lara Spencer and after complaining that she’s “never up at this hour,” she instantly grabbed the front of her Versace gown saying: “The back of my dress just popped.” As her helpers rushed on stage to fix the damange, Carey called out designer Donatella Versace. “I love you, Donatella, but it popped, darling.”

Chris Brown found himself in the middle of a heated debate when he announced that his new single ‘They Don’t Know’ would feature the late Aaliyah but he has all the bases covered and just unveiled the single cover for the track.
The song features unreleased vocals from the singer. “All new stuff that’s never been heard before,” he said.”
He reportedly filmed the accompanying music video in L.A. this month. “I shot it in the ‘hood. I went to 60th Street and Cedar Block,” he said at the 2013 BET Awards press conference.
“[I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from. I’m from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke—I remember when I was.”
‘They Don’t Know’ will appear on Brown’s upcoming album ‘X’ , out July 16th.
J. Cole: “I Deliberately Moved My Album Release To Compete With Kanye West”

J. Cole just pushed up the release date of his ‘Born Sinner’ LP to June 18th after finding out that Kanye West will release his album ‘Yeezus’ on the same day and speaking to Billboard, he revealed that he did it purposely.
He said: “Kanye West is one of the greatest artists of our generation. Which is exactly why I’m moving my release date up (from earlier date June 25th).
{Once I saw Kanye’s tweet about the June 18th date, I knew what I had to do}. Instantly the lightbulb [turned on]… it got real. I made one phone call to somebody that would know, just to make sure first. As soon as I got it confirmed, I was like, ‘Yo…’ The idea hit me instantly: ‘You got to go to that date.’
I’m not going to sit [here]… I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album. It’d be like, ‘Oh and J. Cole dropped too, a week later.’ Nah. I’m going to go see him on that date. He’s the greatest. So it’s like, I’m a competitor by nature so it was instant, it wasn’t even a thought.
It’s a definite statement about how I feel about my album, which is confident.”

The world knows that Rihanna has a thing for Marilyn Monroe and in the upcoming video for her urban #1 single ‘Pour It Up,’ it looks like the singer channeled the late actress.
RihRih is currently on break from her ‘Diamonds World Tour’ and shared a few snaps from BTS of the set. She posted a photo on her Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, “ALL I SEE IZ $IGN$,” followed by the hashtags “#pouritupvideoshoot” and “stripclubsanddollabillz.”
She also teased with shots including a pair of stripper shoes surrounded by dollar bills and a Barbie working the pole for a group of Kens.
Rih’s BFF Melissa even posted a photo of her in a platinum wig and skimpy outfit asking “Is this ratchet enough?”

Paris Hilton has released a few songs and in a new report that surfaced moments ago, the heiress has signed a deal with Lil Wayne’s ‘Young Money.’
Showbiz 411 writer Roger Friedman broke the news writing: “But the big news: this nightfly who is really a successful businesswoman is recording her second album of music right now. It will be issued by CashMoney Records and will feature many hip hop acts such as Lil Wayne. Paris told me Afrojack is producing it, and she hopes to have it out this summer.
The album release will be preceded by Paris doing a residency playing records (digital tracks) this summer in Ibiza, Spain–which also happens to be the hometown of her eleven years younger male model boyfriend named River.
This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris told us. “It’s really going to be house music.”

Ciara has a message for the ladies on her new track ‘I’m Out’ featuring femcee Nicki Minaj. These two chicks want you put on your best clothes, take a few selfies and hit the club for a good old fashion twerking session.
“Ladies, this your song/So as soon as this come on/You should get out on the floor/Go and get your sexy on/If you know you better than that new girl that he on/Go ‘head and tell him now/You gon’ miss me when I’m gone,” Ciara sings on the bass-heavy track. Nicki jumps in directly after and brings all kind of ratch with her verse.

Out & About: Nicki Minaj Films ‘The Other Woman’ In New York City

Nicki Minaj is preparing to make her big screen debut and yesterday (May 21st), the entertainer was spotted filming scenes for ‘The Other Woman’ in beautiful New York City. The Queen Barb was photographed by the paparazzi coming in and out of her trailer, and also interacting with co-star Cameroon Diaz.
The plot of the movie has a woman (Cameron Diaz), learning that she is not her boyfriend’s primary lover. She meets and teams up with the man’s wife to seek shared revenge. Nicki plays the larger-than-life assistant to Diaz’s lawyer character. The assistant is opinionated, sharp, and brutally honest.
‘The Other Woman’ also stars Kate Upton, Leslie Mann, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Taylor Kinney. It is set to be in US theaters April 25th, 2014.
