Listen To Britney Spears’ ‘Ooh La La’ From ‘The Smurfs 2’ Soundtrack, Says Kids Are To Appear In Music Video

Britney Spears’ tune ‘Ooh La La’ from ‘The Smurfs 2’ soundtrack was released in HQ today and we’ve been reminded just how amazing of a song it is. With an infectious pop beat boasting electro influences and an addictive auto-tuned bridge, the song remains G-rated and all around loveable.
In a chat with Ryan Seacrest, Brit said, “It’s definitely straight-up pop… it has a young feel to it. But the main reason why I did it was because [of] my boys. They’re obsessed with the Smurfs. We’ve seen ‘The Smurfs’ movie a million trillion times and they were told they could be in the video and all this cool stuff, so that’s the reason why I did it.”
She brought her kids on set of the video and they were very well behaved. “They were, like, acting, and my oldest son Preston was right on cue every time they would tell him to do something,” Spears said. “They play themselves … [but when] we did the actual shoot of the video I didn’t see [them]. I was in hair and makeup, so later on I got to see what they actually did on camera and it was adorable.”

Leonardo DiCaprio was the perfect character in ‘The Great Gatsby’ and he’s nabbed yet another interesting role in the Martin Scorcese-directed drama ‘The Wolf of Wall Street.’ The trailer was just released to the public and apart from featuring Kanye West’s ‘Black Skinhead’ from his upcoming album ‘Yeezus,’ we also see DiCaprio taking debauchery to a new level.
“My name is Jordan Belfort, the year I turned 26, I made 49 million dollars, which really pissed me off because it was three shy of a million a week,” says DiCaprio’s character in a voice-over that opens the trailer.

Selena Gomez is really casting off that Disney shell. She just played an extremely controversial role in Harmony Korine’s ‘Spring Breakers’ and now she’s back in ‘Getaway,’ her first ever action flick.
The official trailer for the film was released just hours ago and we witnessed a side of Gomez that we actually like. She’s extremely beautiful yet highly gutsy. The film centers around Ethan Hawke, whose wife gets kidnapped and he eventually partners with Gomez. We first see her ballsy character when she tries to carjack Hawke’s Mustang with a gun in hand.

Beyoncé played a critical role in the animated flick ‘Epic’ and after the film was named a success, the producers have released the Sia Penned, Bey recorded theme song ‘Rise Up’ for purchase in HQ on Amazon.
‘Rise Up’ is the first new material of Bey’s that has been released in full for the past three years. The Hit Boy produced track features Bey delivering vocals on a delicately constructed beat filled with harmonies.
She sings: “I’ll keep you safe from harm / Warrior, stand and be proud be who you are/ Rise up / We will fight, we will fight and together we will rise / Fight for you and me look into my eyes and believe / I see you and me take my hand.”
“We are one / We will rise / I see you / What we see is what we are / We will rise,” she adds.

Out & About: Nicki Minaj Films ‘The Other Woman’ In New York City

Nicki Minaj is preparing to make her big screen debut and yesterday (May 21st), the entertainer was spotted filming scenes for ‘The Other Woman’ in beautiful New York City. The Queen Barb was photographed by the paparazzi coming in and out of her trailer, and also interacting with co-star Cameroon Diaz.
The plot of the movie has a woman (Cameron Diaz), learning that she is not her boyfriend’s primary lover. She meets and teams up with the man’s wife to seek shared revenge. Nicki plays the larger-than-life assistant to Diaz’s lawyer character. The assistant is opinionated, sharp, and brutally honest.
‘The Other Woman’ also stars Kate Upton, Leslie Mann, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Taylor Kinney. It is set to be in US theaters April 25th, 2014.

Beyoncé’s ‘Epic’ contribution ‘Rise Up’ hit the web in LQ hours ago and after taking a listen to the full track, we’re absolutely in love. Written by Sia with production by Hit Boy, the empowering ballad features Bey delivering vocals on a delicately constructed beat filled with harmonies.

Britney Spears recorded a song called ‘Ooh La La’ for the ‘Smurfs 2’ and hours ago, the full song hit the web for everyone – especially the children – to enjoy.
Produced by hitmaker Dr. Luke, ‘Ooh La La’ features plenty of EDM vibes and is a feel good anthem that’s perfectly suited to play during the end credits of the movie – which hits cinemas on July 31st.
She sings on the catchy tune: “You don’t have to look like a movie star / Ooh I think you’re good just the way you are / Tell me if you could, would you up and run away with me?”
Both Spears and her kids are fans of the ‘Smurfs’ and she previously said: “I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!”

Lana Del Rey is quite the hot topic and during ‘The Great Gatsby’ film premiere at the opening ceremony of the 66th Cannes International Film Festival last night (May 15th), the singer looked more beautiful than ever.
Gracing the red carpet with her old Hollywood glam style, Del Rey opted for a black-and-white embroidered gown with a scalloped sweetheart neckline by Lena Hoschek. Her look was completed with retro waves, cat eyes and Chopard jewels including emerald earrings.
While on the red carpet, LDR also caught up with fellow soundtrack contributor Florence Welch who wore a pink, polka dot number by Miu Miu. Catch this photo here!
‘The Great Gatsby’ is in cinemas now and during the opening weekend (May 10th), drew an impressive $50,085,184 in the United States alone.
