Kelly Rowland just keeps giving us new material. Fresh from the buzz about ‘Dirty Laundry’ and her new gig as a judge on ‘The X Factor,’ the singer is back with two new songs: ‘Gone’ featuring Wiz Khalifa and ‘Street Life’ featuring Pusha T.
Kicking off with ‘Gone,’ the track features Rowland address another string of relationship problems. Boasting a playful R&B beat reminiscent of the 90’s, Rowland let’s her man know it’s all over singing: “Man you better leave your girl at home man / Cuz if I catch her in the club all alone man / She gone be (gone).” Meanwhile, Wiz plays the role of the man, dropping a few bars that make the song complete.
Beyoncé played a critical role in the animated flick ‘Epic’ and after the film was named a success, the producers have released the Sia Penned, Bey recorded theme song ‘Rise Up’ for purchase in HQ on Amazon.
‘Rise Up’ is the first new material of Bey’s that has been released in full for the past three years. The Hit Boy produced track features Bey delivering vocals on a delicately constructed beat filled with harmonies.
She sings: “I’ll keep you safe from harm / Warrior, stand and be proud be who you are/ Rise up / We will fight, we will fight and together we will rise / Fight for you and me look into my eyes and believe / I see you and me take my hand.”
“We are one / We will rise / I see you / What we see is what we are / We will rise,” she adds.
As always, we’ve got another hit on our hands.

Selena Gomez fans are receiving an extreme overdose of Sel. The singer has pushed her promo into overdrive and hours ago saw Gomez reveal numerous details of her forthcoming album ‘Stars Dance,’ due out July 23rd. One by one, she unveiled the sultry album cover and the complete track list, which was followed by the release of a new single from the LP, ‘Slow Down.’
‘Stars Dance’ is one of Gomez’s most highly anticipated projects and he said herself that it will carry at least one song about her on-and-off relationship with former lover Justin Bieber. Also, the song ‘Love Will Remember’ Is about her failed romance with the teen heartthrob.
“That’s the most personal track on the record, for sure,” Gomez said about the Bieber-inspired tune. “I think it’s a sweet way of releasing it. It’s not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting. I’m sure he’ll love it too.”
Wale hit the stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam yesterday (June 2nd) and hours ago, the rapper dropped the highly anticipated Rihanna remix to ‘Bad.’ He teased the track earlier this week while chatting with Sway and the full song is rather addictive.
The record features Wale and RihRih singing and rhyming over the extremely catchy, bed-squeaky beat. RiRi sings Tiara Thomas’ part and even adds some more rhymes. “A bad girl want a real n*gga…Got a thang for a king, but you ain’t a king,” she spits, while Wale raps lines like , “Bad girls always end up unapologetic.”
We love it.
Make sure to grab Wale’s upcoming album ‘The Gifted’ out June 25th and features collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, and more.

We expected so much more from Miley Cryus’ comeback single ‘We Can’t Stop.’ The singer dropped the first single from her upcoming RCA debut just hours ago and as the title suggests, it encourages listeners to party until the world ends. Sadly, it’s an extreme let down and waste of a release (at least in the summer).
When we heard that she was in the studio with Mike Will, we were expecting something that would dominate the summer charts, party scene and give the ladies something to twerk to. Instead, we received a down tempo pop jam with lyrics like “shaking it like we at a strip club / remember only God can judge us / Forget the haters / Because somebody loves ya.”
We’ve been seeing photos of Wale in studio with Rihanna and moments ago, the rapper gifted Sway with a very special treat. He’s currently working on his new album ‘The Gifted’ and on it is a remix to his hit single ‘Bad’ featuring none other than Rihanna who will be both, singing and rhyming on the track.
RiRi can sings Tiara Thomas’ part and even adds some more rhymes. “Bad girls want a real ni*gga,” she rhymes, while Wale raps, “Bad girls always end up unapologetic.”
‘The Gifted’ is out June 25th and features collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, and more.

Barbadian five-piece NexCyx is ready to dominate the summer season. The band is infamous for releasing extremely catchy tracks and hours ago, they unleashed their brand new single ‘Eternal Summer.’
Borrowing from traditional Barbadian tuk rhythms and popular folk tune, ‘John Belly Mama,’ the song boasts an escalating beat with plenty of hand claps and drum beats along with a rap verse from Mahalia.
“ … Dark lips and dark eyes I’ll meet you outside now / we ‘bout to break it down / feel the heat rising / hear the beat rising / sweat dripping off your skin / don’t try to fight it now / we bout’ to break it down,” she sings on the summer smash. Midway through Mahalia delivers an entertaining and funky rap bit where references are made to Formula 1 cars, shining bright like a diamond and taking a walk on the wide side among other things.
The word “disappoint” does not exist in Ellie Goulding’s vocabulary. The British songbird wowed with a performance of ‘Explosions/ Anything Could Happen’ on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and she’s followed up by releasing a track by the name of ‘Tessellate.’
Produced by Xaphoon Jones, ‘Tessellate’ is a cover of the original track by the same name released by British alternative indie pop quartet Alt-J (∆) in 2012 lifted from their debut studio album ‘An Awesome Wave.’
The track was the perfect song for Ellie to cover. It’s haunting vibe perfectly suits her ethereal voice and it’s impressive how easily she made the song her very own. “Three guns and one goes off / One’s empty, one’s not quick enough / One burn, one red, one grin / Search the graves while the camera spins,” she sings on the tune.
The world knows that Ellie Goulding is one of the most impressive artists of all time and this song is testament as to why this is so.
