Well we weren’t expecting this. After many years a successful professional footballer, superstar David Beckham has officially announced his retirement after this season with his current team Paris Saint-Germain.
He broke the news in a statement writing:
“I’m thankful to PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) for giving me the opportunity to continue, but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level.
If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over one hundred times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realized those dreams.
To this day, one of my proudest achievements is captaining my country. I knew every time I wore the Three Lions shirt, I was not only following in a long line of great players, I was also representing every fan that cared passionately about their country. I’m honored to represent England both on and off the pitch.

While on the red carpet, LDR also caught up with fellow soundtrack contributor Florence Welch who wore a pink, polka dot number by Miu Miu. Catch this photo here!

Kelly Rowland just released her brand new single ‘Dirty Laundry’ and as the title of the song suggests, she’s letting it all air out.
The track premiered on Power 105.1FM’s Breakfast Club this morning, and on it, she spills on being jealous of Beyonce’s success at one point in time and even being involved with an abuser who tried to turn her against everyone else in her life.
“When my sister was on stage / killing it like a mother fucker / I was in a rage / feeling it like a motherf*cker,” she sings, later adding, “Post-’Survivor,’ she on fire / Who wanna hear my bullshit?”
Continuing like a story, she sings on the second and third verses: “Hitting the window like it was me / And still it shattered. He pulled me out and said ‘Don’t nobody love you but me / Not your mama / Not your daddy / and especially not Bey.’”
